I might be getting a new Camaro Z28 as long as everything checks out OK on it, no accidents in the past and so on. Its a 94 Z28 (35,000 miles) with a 1SC Package which is an option delete. It doesn't have AC, PW, PL, fog lights, rear def. has cloth interior, no floor mats, 6 Spd, posi rear, and i think that's all the stock stuff. For mods it has a Hurst short throw, moroso Cold air intake, Slp SS Camaro cowl induction hood and spoiler, and weights 3,300 with a quarter to half tank and no driver and i think that's about it. Its obviously black so ill have a pair of twins. My cousin bought it last fall and is selling it, he's the third owner and will sell to me for $8,000 and its realy clean never seen rain or snow, What does anyone think? Good choice? Or any questions about the car?

You could get a LS1 f-body for that money but not with that kind of miles. Sounds like a rare car but I think I would look for a LS1. Heres a couple in Michigan
98 camaro z28 ls1 1998 Z28 Camaro 2000 Camaro Z28 $7,900/O.B.O. <second owner

I believe there are kits out there to do it. Heres a couple things I found just by a few mins of searching.
rack and pinion out of 98-02 ls1 style slave and master cylinder ls1 k member wiring of course and a bunch of other shit lol I believe the input shaft is different on the lt1 t56 so you'd have to change that too

Thanks for that that's helpful i think i guess its personal preference on what u want i know the LS1 are the shit but i like the 94 front end better and im not doing any crazy mods for a while, my income isn't big enough im just looking for a low mileage nice Z that's cheap cuz ill probably drive it till the motor isn't any good for mods anymore then ill swap in some fresh meat " LS1 or so on in" with mods done and terrorize the roads.

After reading all that info on LS1 and LT1 until theirs no more fluids in me to drool out it sounds like LT1's have more classic Chevy feel which is what im all about having a 78 and all but ill see if i can find a LS1 to take for a spin i did find a local one 2 miles from my house with like 10,000 or less i think asking 18,000 if i had more money id get a new one but Ive liked the LT1 body style since i was a kid and i was lucky enough for my dad to give me his 78 Z to start my collection, then this one kinda fell in my lap and its like a hot chick im all over it but ill take a look and let u guys know thanks

Good miles or not, that $8,000 price tag is just to high for an LT1 car w/ no options on it. Hell, I can get a 2000 Z/28 for sale down the road from me w/ 79,500 miles on it, 6 speed, t-tops,...etc...for $7,750. Why pay for headaches IMO, that opti spark crap will cause you to lose your damn mind. Not a good buy IMO.

I used to own an LT1 and loved that car. They sound great and its offer a great driving experience. While I like the looks of the LT1 front end better, LS1 is better is every way. There used to be an argument that parts were cheaper for the LT1 car but that isnt the case anymore given the way that the aftermarket has embraced the LSX platform. Unless you get a smoking deal on an LT1, look for an LS1 instead.

Theirs a 2001 SS 2 miles from me that has 13,500 miles and hes asking 18,500 but NADA says 15,400 and if i can get him to take 13,000 i think i could afford the payments and hes got extra rims that i could sell for cash some chrome C6 rims and tires but I'll probably get raped on insurance for that car being an SS and all ready new i was going need a second winter job to afford the new car but i might not have a life for a while but the pay off i guess would be worth it to have a sweet ride.
I'm going to do some math and check my money options and see what i can do wish me luck. |

does not make sense to buy the extra rims with a crazy 18.5k . tell him to knock it off the price. and have him take off whatever crap
Nada is much more accurate then Kbb. work to live not live to work. 2nd job to just to have a nice car? wow you have priorities all fuked up. How old are you?

I'm a 21 year old college student but I work at a Country club so in the winter i lose hours and don't make enough but during the summer i make plenty i just need a bit extra to make it through the winter without any problems and i have hookups for easy work that's not really demanding that wouldn't tire me out to much.
