yea, but a Z is as fast or a little faster than a C5 stock for stock... but also has the rarity factor and will be worth much much more later on than a basic C5.
Plus DOHC ftw.

I like Zr1's
but they are like 500lbs heavier than FRC's and I don't see it being very close in price when modding. I was looking at the price of headers for them and I saw a set for $1500 used and a brand new set of headers for a C5 is like $900.

Theres a salvage title ZR1 for sale on the ZR1 registry I believe the guy is asking 16k for it in the forums, you might be able to talk him down.

yea i already talked to him. i asked for more pictures of the paint. Thats the one bad thing about it. Everything else has been rebuilt, but he hasn't reanswered my email. I was hoping he'd go for 13 or 14. Then i'd repaint red with a black top or all flat black.
