ok guys i want to know what you all think of the cobalt ss/sc... i know there are faster for the money srt-4 lol but ive heard to many horror story's and i dont like the interior on them so i got to thinkin for 17 grand would it be worth it? 205 hp and you can spend 600 bucks and get 241 hp (stage 2) and thats only injectors and a 3.00 pulley i could get a 2.85 pulley intake headers and exhaust and maybe be at 265-270 hp which would be nice i heard that the stage two cobalt ss/sc runs about a 13.7 or 13.8 which would put it at about a 14.6 here in utah which i would be pleased with but i dont know if i quite belive that... do u think the loss of power for running the super charger is brought into play when they rate the ss/sc at 205 hp? cause if not wouldnt that only put it at 185? but i doubt a car with 185 horse would run a 15.7 which ive seen a stock one run cause my car is about 190 horse (intake+exhaust) and i ran a 16.2 member i live in utah lol and that was with a really good launch and like perfect shifts... so idk i wanted a ms3 but no used ones for under 20k over here and i raced one last night and i wasnt impressed i matched the ***** 0-60 then he pulled hard but i think its cause he didnt know how to launch his car. so whata you guys think about the cobalt ss/sc or should i buy something else for 18 grand. (member i want something fairly new with like fairly low miles) so basically do u think the ss/sc is worth the money

I like em but for 18k I would look at SRT-4 you can pick them up for like 12 grand. Or get a F-body

why would u want to mod it..?.there pretty fast stock so no need to mod it.it looks good its rwd and has a bit of luxury.. the 2cars he wants have none of what the m3 has..

i think if u want to mod. get a v8 there cheap over there and i hear the engines run for a long time. so a highish miled car wont be to bad....

if i where u ide look for a vw 1.8t, it has most of what u want, cheap mods, nice intourr ect. and u can pick one up for like 8-9

my buddy had stage 3 done to his cobalt, i say they arent that attractive, and all he ever got was problems with it. i mean ALL the time.
