i know this sounds way nooob but me and my buds were talking about how if u go stage 1 with a srt-4 it takes like a second off this may sound dumb but yea wtf is staging? i know its not like uping ur turbo its just like ceartain mods for your car right? and does it vary car to car like would stage 1 for a srt-4 be diff then a stage 1 on a ms3 like different mods input would be greatly apreciated thank you

im pretty sure it differs from company to company that makes the stages
like mopar stage 1-3 or whatever for the srt-4 would have different parts than Buschur stage 1-3 for a Evo

I was watching some sport compact tuner show a long time ago, not sure if I am correct, but here goes:
The Stage 1 Turbo Kit for the SRT-4 boosts power to 240hp and 260 ft-lbs. of torque. Components Stage 1 PCM (4) 577 cc/min fuel injectors Calibration Features Increased WOT and part throttle boost Improved turbo response Boost hold feature during WOT shifts Enchanced 1st gear boost schedule for a high-performance launch More aggressive exhaust note during deceleration Optimized calibration for the Mopar Performance Blow-Off Valve Conversion Kit stg2 The Stage 2 Turbo Kit for the SRT-4 give you a power boost of 265 hp and 280 ft-lbs. oftorque on premium pump gas. For SRT-4, you can also achieve 280 hp and 300 ft-lbs. of torque on 100+ octane unleaded racing fuel. For additional power and a more aggressive exhaust note, you can add a new Cat-Back Exhaust Systems. .Stage 2 PCM Turbo Toys - Turbo Intercooler Sprayer - High Octane Fuel Switch - Dial-A-Boost "Down" Switch, (4) 682 cc/min fuel injectors Wastegate actuator 3.0 Bar MAP sensor 3.0 Bar TIP sensor stg3 all of stg1 and stg2, plus a larger turbo, capable of 450+ hp.
