Blah......that thing was slow and ugly. It wont do well if they bring it back in an all sheet metal body, weight problems and the fact that if you ping dent any panel, the entire panel has to be replaced. It was a slow, heavy, ugly car from the start that a movie made look good.

I agree 100%.
After owning stainless steel appliances for a couple of months, and realizing how difficult it is to keep clean (and how easily it scratches) i cant imagine using this material as body for a car. Its retarded. Quote:

yea i can really careless either quick interesting tidbit the actual one used in back to the future was stolen from a warehouse and is still missing to this day

I actually love the old model. I find it unique no matter its performance, you gotta love butterfly doors just like the Mercedes Gullwing
And ive seen some with a paintjob and it looks funking sweet! Dont know if you guys remember: i made a "tribute" to the maker and creator of the Delorean, who almost became El presidente of GM but turned it down to focus on the Delorean itself. (its actually in two parts, at the bottom of the post, theres part two where you have all the interior pics) I still respect it as hell, and like i said, performance doesent really mean much. ![]() enjoy!
