I am at sea level, but the DA depends on the humidity too. sometime w/ as humid as it is here along w/ the heat it can give a DA of 3000ft. The reason your friend trapped so high I am willing to bet is because of exess spinning, either off the line or through the gears. That is just the opposite of another friend of mine who has an 2001 T/A, LT's, True duels, lid, 3500 stall....that's it and he runs 12.0's but only at like 106mph. I trapped that in STOCK form. It's just the fact that he gets such a great hole shot ( 1.7 60' ) that he never gets a chance to really get into the top end. I only said that I can keep next to my other friend and he traps in the 115 range, hell I might be faster....or I might be slower.

Oh, I also spanked a C6 vette w/ CAI, headers and exhaust this afternoon. Went from 40ish w/ me in 2nd gear and I stopped and let out at 125ish and had about 3 car lengths on him.....WOW was he pissed. LOL

In my (limited) experience, spinning doesnt improve your traps. Ever notice that no matter what your launch is like (i.e. whether you dead hook or spinning to a 2.6 60 ft) your traps are pretty much the same? If anything, excessive spinning would result in you having a lower trap speed b/c you are using less of your 1320 ft to accelerate.

What does a shoot have to do with it? lol I think MightMouse is right about the same times as the Jun cars best and probably is going to be getting quicker Jun's best according to the site is 9.92 in the 400m btw

was it on street tyres for the run also? if so its a damm fast car. but from the vid it hooked up alot for street legals.

That I can't tell for sure but I would guess yes because it looks like all his rims match and they are some bigger size rims.

well u cant really say if its on street legal tyres then. where we KNOW the jun skyline was

dont really matter tho.as i dont think ether of thm post on here anymore and only have had low post counts under 10.
