Default 1/4 time for new 335i BMW
Saw that they are said/tested to run at 13.5 in the 1/4 stock, anyone seen this? If so that is right behind a GTO...

I was watching Autoweek and they tested a 4 door one a manual and a auto I believe manual ran 13.5 and the auto ran 13.7. Nice sleeper cars but not as much potential as the GTO's

Its a fast car for stock, but upgradeability is somewhat limited for a turbo car... they stuck pea shooter turbos on there for good response and no lag. The turbos cannot be unbolted from the manifolds so a turbo swap is not a bolt-on proposition. The motor is essentially a 330 motor (i.e. high compression), not a all new, purpose built forged turbo motor... so you cant go boost crazy.

^it should of been the v10 engine from the M5/M6 imo.v8 is ok but the v10 is much better.

but about modding a BMW. not many people really buy them to mod the hell out of them i think.there more of a luxury car, then a car that you would tune up.

What would be the point in buying the $100k M6 when you can buy the $70k M3 that has the same drivetrain that is lighter and faster.
