^there will always be tuners out there yes of course.but not many people go that crazy modding them. be it as they might not be able to get big power wihout spending loads of money on them.

It takes a lot of r&d (ie. money) to properly engineer a turbo system, supercharger kit or motor swap. If there werent a lot of ppl willing to buy these "crazy" mods, there wouldnt be this many shops catering exclusively to bmw. Dont kid yourself - there are lots of ppl out there willing to dumps loads of money into their bmw's.

yes i know what u mean. butthere are 100 of bmws over here in my town..and none of them are big powerd cars. most of them are stock. or just have lowering kits of some kind.

yup i know.. they arent a tuning car really here.compairing it to somthing like ermm a camaro or somthing.not that we have many here but the one that are have been tuned.probly due to money and gains?

I thought this was about the new bmw's 1/4 mile time?? Oh-well.......
I think it's a turd as far as performance goes, style and looks are great and the interior is sweet. 13.5's for a turbo v-8 is sad even if it weighs *4000lbs. I say, if BMW could make an affordable N/A V8 that actually made TQ and made it's HP at lower rpm levels it would be a serious contender w/ a lot of the American N/A V8's. I will gladly pay less for a car here that has less leather or brushed metal trim but has more grunt under the hood and performance parts don't BMW ( break my wallet ).

yaull should see how small the turbos are on that thing, at my school they have the twin turbo v6 engine out. and they have 2 extra 2turbos jus layen under it. the compresior is so small, for minium lag. ill get a pic of it. its one of the smallest turbos i ever seen. i was thinken bout stealen one lol

Oh...my bad, I thought it was a turbo v8, for a v-6 w/ small turbo set up I guess that aint bad then.
GM has the new V6 that will be put into the cts caddy this coming year, it's N/A and makes a shade over 300hp and good TQ. too.
