Free games worth playing?

Heya people!

So who can name some free games worth playing. The game must be free to download and play. Lergit not a copy or something!

I'll start:

America's Army
Warrock
Gunbound
Counter Strike
Live for speed
BF Heroes
Project Torque
Drift City
F.E.A.R Combat

All those games are amazing I think, specially America's Army and Live for Speed, BF Heroes.

Anyone name any others? That are good and enjoyable. Singleplayer games are good to take a look at, cause some downloadable games allow you to play offline aswell, so yeah!

Let's see how many we can name.

Counter strike technically isn't free since you have to either buy it on its own, or buy half-life in order to play.

With fear combat you are only getting half a game since you don't get the single player portion.

And America's Army is barely ok and that's only because it's free.

FEAR Combat is good, and I'm addicted to America's Army. Not as much as I used to be, but I still play it regualary when my babies in bed, lol.

Paying for modern warfare 2 is much better than any of those games for free.

6 years ago there was a massive list of free games to play that were actually pretty good. Now I can't think of 1. As for MW 2....It's great for about the 1st 15 min until some ******* comes in cheating (online) and ruins the game for every1. If there was individual server control this wouldn't be a problem, but since there isn't it's a massive problem that pretty much ruins the online portion of that game.

As for Counterstrike....they f*cked that game up about 3 years ago. Every time I play it, it's like I'm lagging yet I'm not. I mean when you get the drop on some1 and shoot them 10 times or so (point blank range) yet they don't die and the game doesn't register that you hit them, that's a problem. I had more fun playing that game on dial-up (at least it registered then)

Thats your typical garbage free online RPG (theres about 100 of those around) What they do is they make certain items (usually shit u need) available only if you pay for it with real money.

This is exactly what I'm talking about (Kalcash)

INixGame-Free to Play Wow they won't even let u link directly to their bullshit. Anyway, go to the link I posted and then go to "usage of shop" you'll see what I mean. It's not as "free" as u think....

I know but I been playing it for almost 6 years now I know all about it and if you dont want to pay well dont. the stuff they sell with kalcash you dont need it to play the game. I buy any kalcash items any more : well for the last 3 years : and I only use in game cash to buy the stuff i need and Im doing fine and having fun. just give it a try
if you like rpg game similar to World Of Warcraft well this is not cartoonish like that its good fun and its 100% free if you don't want to buy the kalcash items you just get in game cash to buy what you need.

I've been playing MW 2 for a while now on my 360 and haven't run into any cheaters. Sure some people boost stats and exploit glitches but oh well. Its easy enough to connect to a different server that its not an issue.

And counterstrike source is the way to go. The register problem you have is usually a server issue. I have helped run (and still do) several servers for it, and just switching to a different company made a huge difference in our reg issues.

Thanks for Kal, it's not my typer game so I wouldn't play it. I'm not into all those World Of Warcraft, Guild Wars stuff. Just not my games.

Mw2 is okay for the first hour, then it is boring. So many people online prestige glitch, and alot of people find the little bugs like outta the map and kill people.
I liked the first one, but not the second one. I went back to playing Halo 3, Saint's Row and GTA IV online. Mw2 is really boring.

As for Counterstrike, the game is terrible. A few mates of mine used to play it all the time, and then I showed them America's Army, and they've never gone back. America's Army for me is by far the best.

The overal gameplay, graphics, physix, servers, team work, game modes Etc just really beats CS to the ground and if you go to a game server tracking website, you'll see more players on AA than CS.

Anyway, anymore games anyone else? I want something like racing or shooting, nothing like Wow and hopefully a game that can be played offline.
