Talking Forza 3 setup chat

What settings do you guys use for racing?

-I took off all assist other than ABS.
-I use manual w/ clutch.
-A.I. on hard difficulty, some races on medium difficulty lol.
-Full similation for damage/etc.
-None of those assist line crap either.

I really got the hang of the shifting with the clutch...Im pro at downshifting.

Do you guys that use the clutch power shift? or release the gas everytime?
i prefer to release the gas, then clutch, then shift, then let off clutch then gas haha.

I have mine setup the same way. I am getting closer to taking off the abs though. I had it off in the demo and now i don't know why I put it back on. And powershift all the way ftw.

HAHAHAHAH ^^^ well since that is the case. ill talk more. I have all the assists off. And the clutch as "A" and upshift as "X" and downshift as "B" so i just hit both buttons at the same time to shift or downshift. thats what most ppl do. its easy. K ill post pics laters.

Hmm, switching it to the a button would make it a lot easier. I'll have to try that next time I play.

Yea man deff do that. All the pros do that. Its the fastest, simplest way. I think for the controller options your got to use the option that says "change handbrake with clutch" and depending where you want up shift compared to downshift..maybe also "change up gear to down" eh something like that.

Answer me this, who doesnt play for fun? If its not fun why would people play it? Im just saying its a lot more fun to beat ppl. So if you get "pro" tips, it can help out with the game being fun. Correct?

you do know that "pro" is short for "professional" right, and professionals get paid for what they do.

theres ppl who play for fun and ppl who waste 3/4ths of their life in front of a tv

Yea i know what that means. Have you guys ever heard of Major League Gaming? Well they have Pro Halo and COD. Well there was a group called Championship Gaming Series and they had Pro Forza 2. Well CGS went under during the recession (they only lasted like 4 yrs i think) but still there were pros. I know a couple of them. They made bank too. 70k a year easily. Also they still have tournaments to win trips and cars n shit. Like this yr b4 FM3 came out they had time trials tournament, bla bla and bracket races with the top 50 ppl. Then the top 2 ppl won a trip to play FM3 early and go to 24 hours of Lemans next year with Audi pit passes. So yea there are still lots of ppl who play for prizes and money. Just wait till they have tournaments and the same ppl will be up on the score boards. But why the hate? I just try to give tips. Dont you guys want to get better and win? I know winning isnt everything, but it sure as hell feels good doing it. Losing sucks

YouTube - SF v BIR FM2 | EP 424 A | 2008 CGS World Championship Grand

heres a vid, Daveyskills, probably the best in FM2, Dunno where hes at in FM3. Sackmonjaro is my other friend too. Yea, pro gaming...(ps yea its gay as **** imo, all they do is hit each other. its like racing a 4 yr old. )
