thats so untrue, BF2 has alot of "automated" features, and there arent many entertaining patches for it

As BF1942 has desert combat which is a 21st century mod (everything is modern to date) and flying anything from a helicopter to a bomber is Flight Simulator quality

I have to agree with Rams on this one. Get Battlefield 2 and it's Special Forces expansion pack. I had all the 1942 (and expansions) one's and once 2 came out I never went back.
