Driver Parallel Lines Review

Story 9/10
The storyline of this game is simply awsome, you play T.K. a 18y/o wheelman, you play the first half of the game in 1978 New York, then you get framed for murder and sent to jail for 28 years, you return into modern day Ney York and now its time for revenge on those who framed you. the story would make a damn good hollywood action movie.

Controls 8/10
huge improvement over Driv3r, walkin is alot better and car handling is great, each vechicle has its own hanlin characteristics(cars, bikes,heave machinery), only bad is there is no jump button or sprint feture wich sucks

Gameplay 9/10
game is setup similar to GTA were you have to drive to different spots in the City, theres also side missions like Taxi, Hitman and repo missions. the city is very large and includes manhattan, Brooklyn, Bronx, Queens and a small part of Jersey. there a car customization feature that allows custom paint, nitro tinted glass and a few other things, nothin to crazy but better than GTA:Sa. only real let downs is no boat or swimming, if you go into the water you dont die you just respawn on the shore. and you cant go into any buildings excepy you safehouse

Graphics 9/10
the Graphics are simply awsome, it makes you fell like your driveing through NYC, the building and cars look awsome, there plenty of landmarks, WTC, Empire State Building, Worlds Fair, Times Square ect.

SFX/Soundtrack 9/10
the SFX in the game is good, the cars sound great and the sounds of the city are awsome, the soundtrack is also awsome, great songs for both era's

Replay 9/10
the replay value of this game is awsome, even after beatin the game you can explore the city in both era's findin new jumps and sights and complete side jobs and races

Overall 9/10 i found this game to be awsome, huge improvement over Driver 2&3,i like it just slightly better than San Andreas, hardcore GTA fans may not like it but Driver fans will love it
