I got a playstation 3!!!

Ok here's the story, My friend and I had talked about this for a year now... since the 360 came out... that we were going to skip classes and wait for the ps3. Well Wednesday night in Bloomington, IL it turns out that every retailer was full, people had been waiting since Tuesday afternoon. So we called every Best Buy, Walmart, and Meijer in a 50 mile radius. We found 3 stores, 2 walmarts, and a best buy that didn't have people waiting.

By 4 pm on Wednesday night tho 2 of the 3 were full. The last place was a small town, and they only had 4 coming altogether. 2 60 gigs and 2 20 gigs. When my friend and i got there, it was pouring rain and 36 degrees and 25 mph winds. We were the first ones there. About 30 minutes later 2 other guys showed up, but left about 3 hours later due to the extreme weather. Their tent flew away. Later that night 2 other guys showed up and the first four were taken up then.

The next morning, after no sleep from the cold and wind, 8 more people showed up to camp with us. They were going to camp just for a raincheck! they didn't even get a ps3 but when the next shipment came in they had first dibs no matter what. So throughout the day we watched movies and walked around in walmart, and then later a guy bought 2 cases of miller lite, so me and 2 others drank that the rest of the night. The next morning 5 people showed up at the door to wait, but quickly realized the mob of 12 would have kicked their ass, so they left.

I was first in line so as i went to buy it and a game with my debit card, the card wouldn't work... i thought oh shit. it turns out it has a spending limit on it. Luckily I brought my checks so i wrote a check. Now I'm going to go list this on ebay and hopefully make some money. Not to mention my friend got one and 3 games so we're going to list them and then split the profit. THEN, i'm going to go buy a 360 with the money... hopefully that is.

none taken... we'll see how the auction goes first though. if i make double what i paid, then it turns out i would have been makin 27 bucks an hour to sit in my tent drinkin, which means that wage would get me 58,000 a year.

no kidding i saw that... i set my prices at exactly what i paid, so i at least make back what i spent. some were doing preorders for over 5000. I can't believe some people. its ridiculous
