Official Need for Speed: Carbon thread

Seeing as I just got the game I figured I would start a thread for everyone (I know, I'm such a nice guy).

Please feel free to ask questions about it if you don't have it, and give suggestions/tips if you do own it.

I haven't had too much time to play (damn wife ) but so far I like it quite a bit more than Most Wanted. The feel of the cars is quite a bit better and the graphics are reallllyy good.

The only thing I don't really like (mostly because it takes time to get used to) is the drifting. The car physics are so much different in drift mode that it's hard to get used to.

The new canyon modes are great. They should make up for some great online battles (if I ever figure out why my I can't get my internet to work in the bedroom :banghead: . Any suggestions on that would help ).

So far all I have for cars are a Mazda RX-8 and an RX-7.

I got it for Xbox 360.

The story line so far isn't too bad. Haven't gotten the whole thing yet but there was a race that got busted you escaped and now you've come back. Cross is back but I don't think he's a cop anymore seems like he's bounty hunting you. Acting may have gotten a little better.

the storyline of the game is this...


Back in the day you were a street racer and one day you had a huge race worth millions...well as the race went on the cops shot those laser that kill the cars...everyones car got hit except yours....

everyone started getting busted jsut then a friend or gf not sure (but its a girl) throws the bag of money in your car and jsut as shes about to jump in the car the cops grab her..you take off...

then you leave town...and thus entering into the Most Wanted game....and if you played that game in the end you escape the cops and leave town....now this game you are back after many years and well cross is back to get you...and your old friends now want you to pay back everything you owe...

the game is awsome i find the crew thing is awsome, graphics are great, i started with the rx8 didn't like it so i restarted with the alf... didn't really like it so now with the ss and my partner has the 300C srt-8

i beat the xbox one last night the Z06 is awsome i beat the last boss in the canyon by the first turn passing him.

Yeah, it was just paper. Still finding out more but the money bag was switched.
