Default How to drift on gt3/gt4?

What car, what settings, and what track do I need to drift on Gt3 or Gt4?

K&N filter with modified lid, 52mm TB, ported plenum, Edelbrock High Flo runners, Stock baseplate, ported aluminum heads, Custom grind camshaft by DRM, Roller rockers at 1.5, High flow stainless valves, high perf springs, chrome moly rods, high volume fuel pump, adjustable fuel pressure regulator, MSD ignition, LT ceramic coated headers, full stainless exhaust out straight pipes, 700R4, stock 2:73 gears in D36. also Edelbrock valve covers, chrome break reservoir, 18" black ZR1s on Nitto 555s 275/40

you can drift any car on any track with any settings

gt4 drifting is so damn hard unless you've got the wheel. gt3 is much easier. just use slightly more neg camber and stiffer springs out back to make it pretty easy. oh yeah, and some of the harder compound tires. dont use differnt compounds for front and back because then it will be almost impossible to same some of the higher angle drifts.


oh yeah, rwd of course.

The only good thing with the wheel is that you have a bit more control on the acceleration cos of the pedals. The fact the wheel is breing wrenched about makes it slightly difficult to control your speed tho, especially when the only place you can put the wheel is in between your legs :banghead:

well, i have great control of throttle cause i use the analog on the controller, so its real easy for me to keep it under control

What i did was find some car settings on gtplanet and adjust them to suit myself.
I now have a set of settings that seem to work on most RWD cars of about 150bhp to 750bhp cars quite well
I can post them up if you like?:thumpup:
Still not mastered 4WD drifting quite yet
