First thing is first............
ever since about a month after GT4 came out noone has mentioned anything about it. I was wondering what happened? Did all the racing fans here just give up on the game? Or was it justa passing fad and should be left out to pasture? The other question I have is if ANYONE here other than me still play the game i need a little help on car set-up and/or a suggestion on what car to get. In Professional league the last series of races {to complete the professional event} i cannot seem to keep up with any of the cars there. i can win a couple of races then blam , no wins its very frustrating. The car I have is a Mazda 787b with 892 hp (959hp w/Nitrous) the car with do 230mph with the gearing i have set up right now. BUT... the car is way too nervous and twitchy. the other computer players literally leave me behind under accelleration, cornering, everything !!!!!! and yet i have less weight and more power then the other cars. and no im not that bad of a player i could do better if i had a wheel instead of the controller but that is not in the cards right now . If anyone other than me is still playing the game any input would be appreciated. Thanks in advance

if you got to 50% of the game, you should've gotten a Jaguar XJ-R9 Race Car, it's the cheapest-best way to pass the league, it takes lots of effort to do it tho, right settings tires, etc...
now if you can't pass it that way, then pass the "Mission Hall" 's races: 30-34 and you will get the NISSAN R89C Race Car '89, you should not struggle with this car, and if still you can't do it, then pass the "endurance hall" El Captain 200 Miles and you will get the TOYOYTA 88C-V Race Car (MINOLTA) '89. it should be a pieceo of cake with this car. if you wanna buy a fast car on your own, then pass the Rally d' Capri in "Special Condition Hall (easy)", you can pass it even with a 200hp car and it takes less than 5 mins. you will get a car worth 265,000. just pass it over and over till you can buy a really fast car ![]() |

TOYOYTA 88C-V Race Car (MINOLTA) '89
R34 i have this car now and @ 1229 hp its fast but again not quite fast enough cant even win first race!!!! In the first lap i get 1st place and hold it till pit stop but...... i drop to 6th in the pits and cant catch up after that and i have noticed something too without getting fuel my pit stops last 20 - 25 seconds where as the computer drivers pit only last 15 seconds at the most ...... very frustrating. ohh yeah btw my T/C is set at 9 to keep the car from eating back tires and im using racing medium tires maybe choose hard for the race and go to soft for last 2 laps. might work lol i keep you posted and also what was your time on the 'ring?

about the minolta car, if you can't pass it, then i'm sorry to tell you that you suck at driving, lol. jk no, just try to use the longest lasting tires posssible. like superhard on the rear and hard on the front, unless there's very few curves on the track then use medium on the front. take full advantage of the downforce, suspention settings and tranny. |
