Well... my PS2 have been acting up the past months.. when i put the cd in.. it takes a little while to load.. error messeges come up.. but then i keep restarting it and junk.. then it works.. but last night.. and today.. it wont work for nothing!... no DVD's, CD's or GAMES!!... can anybody help me? :banghead: :banghead: :banghead: :banghead: :banghead: :banghead:

your laser might be worn out or its dirty. go to wal-mart and buy a CD Lens cleaner.

already clened it (i didnt touched it... just blew it.. i opened the ps2 and took the cd cover off.. and i blew directly in the lens... still didnt work).. im going to opne it again.. and with some cleaner.. im going to clean it...

there is a site that shows you how to fix a ps2 on these forums -look around somewhere its a good site

i had the same problem i ended up going to a site that showed me how to readjust the laser. one good knock and its out of alignment. ill post when i find it

i had the same problems awhile ago...and sony posted on ps2 underground that if u send it in they will fix it for free or something...that was awhile ago tho...but it worked fine when we got it back from sony.

guess how i fixed mine?? i took it to my friends house and we threw it off his 3 story balconi, then got my paycheck and went and bought a used one for 70 bucks

O.k I had the same problem cos GT4 killed mine with enduro races

I fixe....bought a new slimline ps2

they are really great, quicker and much quieter :thumpup:
