being a hardcore GT fan since pretty much day 1 i think forza might have out done the PD team this time. The graphics, physics, car selection (while gt has way more, it has way more than it needs*cough 30 skylines cough*), damage and the ability to customize your car. Not something I like to admit but I think it had to be said

I will hopefully get a copy this week and from what I've seen and read I'll have to agree until I can compare both myself.

Forza has damage and from what I hear much more intelligent a.i, GT4 has no dmage and the a.i still sucks not to mention the game is packed out with too many boring enduro and rally races which are not upto scratch imo so I'm looking forward to a more rewarding experience with Forza (fingers crossed)

forza is honest to god the best raceing game out right now i mean wow!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! the game is real! the speed of the cars are real and when you modofy them they are real take it for instance 450 hp srt (neon) and a 600 hp wrx they are exactly the same in speed (except in take off you have to roll race) but omg the speed is real and the handleing is amazeing i have gt 1 2 3 4 but forza tops it all off like nothing and the point where you can put body kits on your car in in fact f!@#ing badass forza is the best raceing game ever made and i will diffend that to the end its unbeleaveable or whatever lol oh and certain cars if you put turbos in them some have huge turbos and have turbo lag just like in real life its sooooooooooooooooooo bad simpully put amazeing from every detail to detail did i mention that the speed is real?

I will agree that forza is pretty ****en badass, its all i've played since i bought it. And judging from some GT4 replays i've seen it is also A LOT more realistic than Gran Turismo.

I've been a GT fan since first and have GT4 with Logitech DFP, the DFP alone makes GT4 twice as good. However, I am playing Forza right now because I wanted something new, and better looking. I don't have a HDTV tv, but I can hook up my xbox to my 2001fp Dell for 480p res. So I can't compare GT4's 1080i res to this. Oh well.

Anyways, Forza does lack something, the feeling of speed. Capped at 30fps, I've had several non-racing gamer friends look at me playing both GT4 and Forza and have them critique the feel of speed and they all agree Forza just doesn't feel like the car is moving fast. My other complaint is the lack of USB on xbox which limits me from using my beloved DFP. I don't want to buy another steering wheel, but I might.

Anyways, I think Forza and GT4 are pretty competitive with each other, but online play, damage, and limited customization makes Forza better. I'm currently 8% career mode, and 70% arcade mode done. Playing about an hour a day or so. Look for Xentar on xbox live if you wanna race.

Wait till Xbox 360 comes out and play it with your DFP on that as it will be backwards compatible with xbox games and has usb support :thumb:
