Yeah, it definitely does do things a tank won't do. Look at the ground its covering. That wet, muddy, swampy ground is exactly what stopped the german tanks in their tracks during world war 2. Tanks are heavy enough that their treads don't spread the weight enough for the soft ground to support them. (This is the same reason no one has built the ultimate tank with 5 feet thick armor on every side... It wouldn't be able to drive on most ground without sinking in due to the weight.) Something with pontoons like that can sort of glide over the top of swampy terrain, as you saw in the vid. Having said that, its only useful in a very few times and places so I'd still take the 6x6 carrying it.

funny way of propelling forward, but effective... BUT WTF IS UP WITH THE RESIDENT EVIL SOUNDTRACK...
