I think it is legal in more. It is sanctioned by Nevada gaming and legal in CA as well. I'm not sure about any other states. I could have sword they've held events in Texas though.

yup, on March 3 at Nationwide arena ufc 68 is there. MMA is also legal in Alabama, Alaska, Hawaii, Massachusetts, Minnesota, Montana, South Dakota, Wyoming, but not regulated by a commision. So you can fight but your record isn't recognized. Im pretty sure Missouri and Michigan are also sanctioned by the commision with CA,NJ,NV,OH.

pity when pride is over in the usa you arent allowed to have kicks and stomps on the head when on the floor.

But you are allowed to throw elbows as long as they don't come from the 12o'clock position to the 6 o'clock, which is stupid. Elbows cause lacerations and cause fights to end prematurely or in a NC more then knees, stomps, and soccer kicks combined.

man, i wouldn't wanna do that. too much pain involved unless you jsut get a one hit KO. not sure how many broken noses i counted there...5 maybe (at least)

We have rage in the cage here in Arizona. It's kinda like the minor leagues of UFC. I have a few friends in it, they say you get hurt whether you win or lose pretty much.
