Why do so many truck owners think their stock v8 trucks are fast?

Because they think 340 hp sounds like alot, but they forget that it's in a 6000 lb truck. So really its more like 170 hp in a 3000 lb car. ( They also forget that the numbers aren't to the wheels either.)

Nice vid, but that Impala is badass.
My friend owned one for 2 years, it was the 96 model, which is the most sought out one, last year producton, anolog gauges and the automatic shifter is on the floor instead of the steering column.
Everytime we went crusing, everyone was checking out the ride (ok it was only guys) but who gives a sh#t.

Are pretty quick. Heres my buddy 2002 georges Silverado
Stock ran 14.7's

Swapped a stock 6.0L into it. had DR's and exhaust and stall.
