I'll give ford one thing, they really go for what their customers want. A wide variety of power levels, trim options etc.....

That 725hp package is rumored to be $25K.......A TAD MUCH, on top of the already costly GT500. SO if you opted for that, 60-70K for the car + 25k for that package.....fook that, you could have a new ZR1 vette when they come out and still be faster.

so why would you pay 60-70k plus an additional 25k for something you could build yourself like 50k (assuming you use a brand new mustang)? just get a 2003 cobra and KB it along with some decent susp parts and you'll be much better off...but the sleby does atleast look cool

Expensive, but it's got a lotta balls.
As with anything else, the price is mostly exclusivity, the same power can be had for less, but it's not a "Super Snake."
It's too rich for my blood anyway.

Truthfully... It's a car to be bought and stored. End of story b.c it is limited production car. It's got the flare to be fast and very driveable. The fact is it's being made to bought and owned in a garage... for example:
Douche bag 1~ "Hey man wanna see something cool?"

Douche bag 2~ "Holy shit you bought a GT 500 Super Snake!"
Douche bag 1~ "Yep it's awesome too b.c I'm have to sell my house and everything I own to insure it and put gas in it b.c I could've built the same thing for possiblely less. D'oh!"

imo good for ford wheather you go this route or the chebby whatever its called or porche your still spending a craaap load of money and your buying it to be differnt and feel special wich i see nothing wrong in. but argueing that some other car is a few grand cheaper who cares if thats really how someone feels theres other routs you could take that will blow these things away for way cheaper than these e.g. buy a fox or 240 and mod the crap outa it for alot less...
