but he was drifting when there were four other cars trying to race around him. Damnit I wish they had made those in America. the closest thing we got was the damn contour svt, which was a joke.

that car is awsome, the best part is that when he wanted more power he got rid of the ford engine and got a volvo engine

Actually I wouldn't even consider the Contour close to it... personally the only thing here in the states that would come close to that is a Merkur... b/c 1. It's rwd
2. It's the same as a Sierra over there in the UK
3. It has the 2.3 SOHC turbo and that is the 2.0 YB motor in that car which can be transplanted into a Merkur.

Merkur Xr4Ti (which costs close to f#ck all)

(i actually was really close to getting one as they are less than 2g's and they whoop Mustang SVT's)

I'd love an RS500 Cosworth Sierra. I used to watch them race when I was younger, against the R31's, E30's, Commodores, and the R32 GTR's. Before the GTR came along, these were basically unbeatable in Group A racing.

On a side note, a guy in town has a Sapphire Cosworth Sierra. 4 door, rwd. Quite quick too. Oh and I had a MkII Escort at one stage that I rolled being a silly bugger.
