#1 the video states the SRT-8 aint bone stock.
#2 5th gear is pretty much useless in 99 & 01 Cobras. That setup is obviously meant to be quick to 120 (all he needs for the 1/4) and suck after that.

If roll racing was what he wanted to do, he would have went with longtubes and a JLT CAI instead of the gears.

He wasnt going all that fast at the end.. I dont think he changed his speedo gear when he changed his gears. I am not impressed at all considering the 4.56's vs the stock auto and gears of the charger and how heavy those things must be.

seen this before on a mustang forum, stang guy lied, he had a 75 shot he never told about. That nitrous plus gear and DR's is killer in a DOHC 4.6L.

Funny thing is how that owner of Charger get 80-90 rwhp with just exhaust and CAI , 06 Charger comes with 340 HP at motor , minus 18-20% drivetrain lose thats around 270-280 at rear wheels , in video he claim 377rwhp BS

99 Cobra comes with 320hp at motor minus drivetrain lose thats around 280 at rear tires

Both cars have close HP but Cobra is faster due lighter car

did u forget that it's an srt-8 w/425 hp at the fly? add a couple mods and take in that a dyno # probably came from the wheels and it sound right to me

your right. wait it depends on if its the charger R/T or not... plain SRT8 might be less the 425..


then again if you have those kind of godamn gears of course your going to rape off the line.... and suck at top end of course. i think imma just got 3.73's

and i thought stock cobras were 390hp at flywheel? or are only the SVTs that? i dunno im not mustang person. but if you modded that charger the right way it would kick some ass.


no way in hell an exhaust and CAI will give you 80RWHP thats a load of bullshit right there. thats almost impossible.

My bad , R/T have 340hp at motor and SRT8 have 425hp

Only 03 and or 04 Cobras have 390hp supercharged (which is 410hp but Ford lowered #s because of instarance)

99 and 01 Cobra have 320HP and they are N/A
