Come on guys dont hate I drove a gtp before, they're good cars they just got the wrong wheels powering them which sucks when you romp on it from low speed or a stop.

Newbie? WTF

You made it seem as if your Ford's could whip any GTP. Not the case. Don't be ignorant. Give respect where it's due.

My buddy and I used to cruize his 99 GTP all over the place. Loved that car. And it was pretty quik for a luxury sedan BUT, that one isn't stock. The exhaust is to loud to be (and frankly sounds like s@#t). My buddy's GTP ran mid 14's. (stock). Supercharge a stock stang and tell me what you run. If you really want us to be impressed show us a GTP toasting a decently equipped stang and I will give it credit. I've got another freind who has a 99'GT mustang and runs 13.34 with a stock motor and a couple bolt ons. no charger. Now that is who they should be racing.
(By the way auto's are for handicap)

Also temptme there are lots of street stangs in the 8's and 9's haven't you ever seen an NMRA race or an FFW race. They have to complete a 30 mile cruize and make 3 back to back runs without popping there hoods or they are disqualified. They are licensed tagged and ready to cruize the town. The vid you showed is not a street driven car. (Do your homework your imbarassing yourself)

Mustang's are a dime a dozen. Enough said. Sure there are fast ones but for all of the overrated slow ones, there should be a few below 14's every once in a while.

My GTP ran 12.6 in street form. No special tuning or tires. Pulled up and ran the time and then drove home. There are several daily drivers running 11's.

BTW, a Mustang has 2 extra cylinders and is RWD and 'supposed' to be fast. What was that above about a handicap?

I don't need to do any homework. I am a car enthusiast and am knowledgable regarding almost all car models. However, if there is one thing consistent at the track it would have to be ****y uninformed Mustang owners.

(FYI, it 'E'mbarassing not 'imbarassing' lol)
