The GTPs/ Regals Transmissions are the weakest link. Other than that, those cars are rock solid reliability. I know alot of good friends here in pittsburgh that uses them as daily drivers and somewhat of a drag car. easy 13's
Great in the snow and so so MPG.
http://www.pittspeed.com/forums/ and see the Grocery Getters first hand.
I still wouldn't own one, thats just not my preference.

Not at all, Im a Mustang fan as well. I just wasnt agreeing with you about the stock L37/L67 motors. I agree with shaggy its really not my cup of tea either, but they are nice daily drivers or highway cruisers. I wouldnt mind owning one for those 2 reasons. I wouldnt mind having a nice mustang as a nice street bruiser either. :thumb:

That's right, shop smart, shop S-Mart!

i have a GTP and i will say the only problem with it was the trans, went to ZZperformance.com got a trans and its fricking sick, :thumb:
mustangs and GTP's run with each other stock, if the drivers are equal to each other. A driver makes or breaks the car.
a low 13 second 3500 lb car that makes 310 whp isent to shabby for a 16 year old.
plus i can usualy get groceries faster than the other guys
and yes my car is lightly modded

I was most impressed by the "zoomer runs nines" posted at the beginning, but it wasn't the GTP that impressed me. Check out the pickup in the lane next to it damn!! It even has a tool box

but this should impress you, it was a supercharged turbo, yes it has both. so there is no turbo lag, when the turbo is makeing more PSI then the supercharger it bypasses it. sweet azz setup:thumb:

Nitto DRs , with bad traction i run 13.0 with 2.0 60ft with 12.7s i have 1.8 60ft
Don't forget i'm heaver too 400lbs means .40 on 1/4 ,that should put me in low 12s with 311HP
