OK so he lost! So what. What about that zo6 racin that 912 rwhp saleen. The zo6 is made to be the poor mans super car. The mustang is made to be the practial hot rod, and it is. Ill take a 06' 30k mustang gt and put in another 38k to make it spank on the 68k 06' zo6!!!!

Both cars are wicked as all hell, but for those people making up excuses.....to damn bad. Don't bring your car to race if it is not top notch ready. It would be like a heavy weight boxer fighting in his title defense, but he came to the ring w/ a broken arm.....you would expect to lose. I doubt the cobra woulda won even if his belt wasn't slipping, before you could here the slipping, he was already getting worked over by 2-3 car lengths. The Zo6, when approaching very high speeds woulda still gained advantage due to areodynamics, weight advantage, and a better overall top speed.
Now that the tuning software is out for the LS7, WATCH OUT.... LS7's w/ turbos, twin turbos, supercargers, or just a plain old cam and bolt-ons are gunna be some world class contenders. There is one around here that made 579rwhp and 565 rwtq w/ headers and a cam (un-tuned) and at 3152 lbs, that already is sickness. ![]()
