some guy posted a buch of videos of cobras, this video is included in that list. anyway It races another or the same supra at night. The supra beats the cobra again, but this time the cobra reaches 160mph, its max speed, while the supra beats him for like 20ft. this means the supra was doing around 180mph

that was a fast Supra but i think for a 500 hp Cobra 160 mph is slow, considering a stock one can do almost 170, and whover owns that Supra modded the heck out of that thing.

well, yes, but the tranny redlines at 160 in 5th gear so the cobra wouldn't go any faster, but still the supra on the video i mentioned was going hella fast

No. At 160 in 5th gear, it's at about 6000 RPM with another 500 before redline.

It's also a 6 speed so it has another gear to go.

to clear up all the speeds and gears here is what the sc cobras can do with the stock 3.55 gears

the tremic T56
1 gear 2.97
2 gear 2.07
3 gear 1.43
4 gear 1.00
5 gear .80
6 gear .62

these speeds are based on a 6500 rpm redline
1 gear 45 mph
2 gear 65 mph
3 gear 95 mph
4 gear 136 mph
5 gear 170 mph
6 gear 219 mph
