I know one of the founders of id Software (Doom, Escape from Castle Wolenstein, etc) had one made. Ferrari banned him from buying any new Ferraris because he "ruined" their F50.

Can Ferrari do that? I know Ferrari is very Anal about their F50's but that is bullshit. Don't they also make you sign a paper stating that if you decide to get rid of the car you must sell it back to the dealer and also in order to purchase one you have to already own 2 or 3 ferraries?

lol they banned him maybe cuz ferrari dont appreciate nerds driving their cars into walls. That's nice though, i like the power figures and that PSST noise.

Ferrari has to approve of you buying their F50, and magazines have a very hard time finding one for tests because Ferrari frowns upon instrumented tests of their "halo" car. Ferrari won't supply one, they have to find an owner somewhere out there who's willing to have his baby flogged.

In correct both cars came Naturally Asperated from the factory, the F40 was a v-8 configuration, and the F50 a v-12 configuration. Although the F50 was more advanced, the F40 had a better power to weight ratio.
