well im sorry to point this out but... the video of the turbo'd f50 launching is a very old vid on which they just added bov's sound. c'mon, you wouldnt hear it that much from that distance with the noise this engine makes.

so theres still no proof of a turbo'd f50

[quote=NoHook]Can Ferrari do that? I know Ferrari is very Anal about their F50's but that is bullshit. Don't they also make you sign a paper stating that if you decide to get rid of the car you must sell it back to the dealer and also in order to purchase one you have to already own 2 or 3 ferraries? [/QUOTE
Here's another Ferrarism, At the Beverly Hills Ferrari dealer only previously owned Ferrari owners can buy a car there!! That is such BS.. Yes it is a pasta rocket but it is only a car!!!

some people should think before they speak..or even better, learn about ferraris, or cars in general before telling others about them.

My God!!! I thought you guys would know better...
Let us end this already!

The Ferrari F40 is derived from the 288GTO, wich is derived from the 308.
Both the F40 and 288GTO pack a 2.9l V8īs with a couple of IHI turbos.
The F40 as 478hp, althought itīs claimed that figure is fake and that it pulls over 500hp.
The F50 as a NA V12, with 520hp from the 333SP race car, wich is derived from the F1 engine from the early 90īs.
Yes there is turbocharged Ferraris, apart from the 288GTO and F40.
In the U.S there were companies that turbocharged 308īs and more recently Koenig turbocharged the F50, as well as the 550 and the 355 and 360.

Sorry for the boring text, but you guys were just saying a lot of shit...

Extra info: actualy there was another turbocharged Ferrari, apart from the F40 and 288GTO, the 208GTB Turbo

Itīs a 308 with 2.0l V8 turbo with 16 valves and 155hp.
And about the test drives for magazines, Ferrari does have them, as long as they are supervised. I know because I have read some test on magazines of the F50 in Fioriano, and there was another with the Enzo on the Nardo test track in Italy versus the Murcielago, Carrera GT, DB9, Continental GT and SLR.
It won...
