are basicaly using the same videos from youtube to "promote" their sites and especially display fukin vi$ual pollution$ aka fukin ad$ !!!

they haven't uploaded those videos but they do make some money out of it. maybe it's not much, maybe it just covers the bandwith. so what's the point? just give it up already cuz it's freaking annoying...

i don't think it's cool nor fair to the actual persons that made the contribution in the first place. just imagine all the free beer if tremek had a cent for every link ever posted here...

sooner or later, some of us could have posted it in the thread or posted a direct link to it and that way sometimes we can take the time to read the comments that go with it or better yet find another video of interest...

from now on i'll make a point to get the youtube code out of their links and post it in the thread

and btw, sorry guys if i was harsh, i was in a cranky mood this morning... well all day actually... and wasn't up to smooth it out

what i'm trying to say is i do like most of the videos they display... well not so much if it's a 3rd time repost in something like 2 weeks. and those TG classics are oldies but goodies alright... we already have a short memory deficient fellow that reposts fifth gear videos a year later but at least he types even if it's nearly impossible to read at times...

the making a coin out of others contribution, thats what really rubs me the wrong way. and use the gawd dam search button, it's not an optional extra

i know it is quite annoying to visit some video sites that do not provide original videos but grab from youtube and trying to earn from it.

since i am not into very strict rules, i dont mind them promoting their sites video link as long as they are active in pointing nice videos to the community (not spamming).

i did warn them about posting more description in their post instead of just a link which makes it look like a spam post. they did take some effort to put in better description.

As long as they put in effort to have good description, point us to relevant cool videos which we might missed out, active in participating (not spam), i will close one eye on the self-promotion of their site.

^ why? they do post some good vids. and who really cares if their site makes a few extra pennies off of us clicking a car link? I don't. Hell, I have told a shit load of people about this site, some of them may not have joined, but I'll be damned if they didn't click through a shit ton of videos, and come back to the site a few times. Is that not giving us at tremek more site hits?

no need to ban, there bringin traffic in by making links/threads. reguardless of where there linking it too.

infact if we had a couple more people like them making new threads with unseen videos, it wouldnt kill us.

more traffic = more people = more money = tremek stays open
