Some are AWD, most are FF. It seems that this one is FF and he is just e-braking through a few of the turns. If it were AWD he would have to be going a lot faster.

For starters, in comparison to AWDs, there are very FEW FF DSMs.

Second that car didn't have the ebrake on, if you look closely the tire is still spinning.

Probably no LSD, though, so I'm surprized the unloaded inside tire isn't spinning like crazy?

He's probably just got a really stiff suspension and is just breaking the rear end free through old fashion throttle-dump and braking.

the rear tire is just barely spinning as if the e brake was not holding all the way. i never realized that going through a few turns with the e-brake on was now considered drifting. o well.. learn something new everyday.

eh.. THats ass draging an slight instances of Snap Oversteer.
http://www.putfile.com/media.php?n=Eclipse-Vid_0002

Above is a A few choice moments in my GST AutoX'ing. (also just posted a drag racing vid of the same car..

The big slide around the left sweeper was snap oversteer... THe 180 around the Pivot cone was E brake induced. Trail braking can cause the same 'effect' in FWD's with properly massaged suspension and tire preassures but even I don't clasify that as drifting..

Yes... Not a standing burn out but a burnout non the less .. AWD Just needs about 60ft of open space to SPin on its axis. 400HP AWD will do it just fine.. But i'm not disputing anything... RWD is to a Drift like a Motorcycle is to a WHeelie. It was meant to be...
