Short shifter is good but I recomend some practice before actually racing with one. When I first got mine I went from 2nd to 5th a time or two.. talk about a bog.

my issue was going 2nd to 5th. i remember the day i sold it, i redlined it for the hell of it when i was in 3rd gear, it went into the red and i shifted... man that was fun.
