i'm going to laugh my ass off when it goes off course and hit a rut right off the track and rolls like no tomarrow! oh and you shouldn't be allowed to drift mobile boxes either, anyone else think the same?

i highly doubt that thing can drift at 40+ miles per hour, it's center of gravity sucks, it will be fun watching it flip over tho

well if not a fellow drifter, then a fellow enthusiast is just as good. you should get into the drifting scene, its been around a hell of a lot longer than most people think it has been, for example the 3rd f&f movie, now all us drifters are posers all of a sudden, gofigure!

umm...high center of gravity??? Wrong?
The car's completely stripped....the only weight remaining is the engine and tranny which from the pictures seem to be quite low. It looks high because it doesn't have a body kit like most D1 cars...but i'm sure it's not much higher than most of them.
I rather think with 500hp it will drift quite well...

But formula D is passing a rule to allow only cars with the original production engine to participate in the series i think...stop me if i'm wrong...
that would mean honda wasted an few hundred grands.

I think they'll allow that since it came stock in the car in Japan.
But it would mean no more V8 Rx-7 or RB26DETT 350Z...4AGE 20V AE86 :mecry:

but i'm not sure about that. Maybe someone could confirm.

i think that'd be a dumb rule to pass...especially for the ae86's. they need all the help they can get with power and w/o the 4age motor they'd be even worse at faster tracks. ('worse' is a relative term mostly meaning slower in this case. has NOTHING to do with teh hachi's themselves. )

20valves are good with low budget...but put money on a redtop 16v and it will perform almost just as well...once ITB's are added...there's not much difference left. That shouldn't mather too much. Or maybe they'll allow it since it's still a 4AGE...only different head...dunno.
But then again I just heard my friend give that as a reason for why some guys were selling their LS6 powered FD3S, i'm not sure if it's true.

wrong, it's not the orgininal production engine... there's shit load of drift cars w/ swapped engines, the main rule is that all cars must have the factory chassis.
