has anyone ever taken two cars with the same specs and raced in a road coarse, one drift style and one regular road race style to see which is actually faster? everyone says drifting is faster but then how come you never see it in any races?

it has been done before and drift is not faster, if it was, F1 racers would be drifting for better lap times, don't ya think?!

noob here but didnt the dirft king, Dori Dori, use abit of drifting to get faster entry or exit speeds?

drifting certain corners has advantages but not all. not the big showy drifts that you see in d1 with huge angles...at most times its very subtle
