my towncar has a v8 in it. does that make it a granny race machine? haha.
V8+FWD=RETARDED no matter how good the traction control is or the traction. or for that matter, FWD=RETARDED ![]() |

When I took my girlfriend to 6flags in GA we watched the 2005-6 dodges/jeeps/chryslers being test drove HARD
They had 300s and magnums drifting, even lit up the tires on a SRT-10 RAM. Only thing that I didnt see was a viper

The traction control may work well, but it cannot overcome the laws of physics. Front wheel drive is never an optimal layout. If you don't know what a traction circle is, it may be worth researching for you. Also, weight transfer during hard acceleration...the weight of the car goes away from the drive wheels further reducing traction. All the traction control is doing is reducing the power to the given traction level and slowing you down. From a review... Quote:
Bottom line is that you may like the Bonneville, but the car is really in a different league than a 300C. Also the GTO isn't really a Pontiac. It's a Australian Holden. Last edited by Verrückt; 01 Mar 2005 at 12:25 am. |

300C is one of the sexiest cars on the market. Its not meant to be a performer but it'll eat a GXP alive. Heres a slightly modded one I shot at the Portland Intl. Auto Show: ![]()

The 300c are pretty good looking cars, so is the GXP. But personally if I wanted a highway crusier and that had some gitty up. I would buy a slightly used 03 SSEI Bonneville , slap the pulley on it , cold air, and chip (seen a Regal and GTP have this setup they ran low 12s allday FWD). Save ALL kinds of money and make the 300c look stupid in any race. But that would be my personal choice for a highway car. This arent freaking sport cars ! cmon now.

Alright you primitive screw-heads, listen up. See this? This is my boomstick! It's a 12-gauge double-barreled Remington. S-Mart's top of the line. You can find this in the sporting goods department. That's right, this sweet baby was made in Grand Rapids, Michigan; retails for about one hundred nine, ninety-five. It's got a walnut stock, cobalt blue steel, and a hair trigger. That's right, shop smart, shop S-Mart! Last edited by nx468; 04 Mar 2005 at 09:02 am. |
