I was just posting the time cause I said generally so I just wanted to make it more specific. Driver skill factors into that (and any race). I don't really like the Srt-4 Neons but I like them as much as I do Mustangs. Every car has its strengths and weaknesses. You just have to know where they are. I have heard on a few forums of guys in Srt-4s saying that they have smoked GT Stangs stock, and with 3 or 4 simple bolt-ons that they would kill a Cobra from a roll. I know 7 people that have or had 95+ Neons some beat the crap out of them, other babied them all of them however have had to replace the head gasket and in most cases the head as well. That is why I say what I did.

ok the mustang GT (previous versions) definetly has 260hp and 302 ft lbs. but still.. its listed 0-60 is 5.5 and the S2000's (2003 model) is 5.2 the mustangs listed 1/4 mile time is 14.1 about the same as an S2k. but thats not the point who buys a car to go in a straight line. the S2000 would destroy a GT on the auto x or any type of race course with some good turns.
