Default Bought a truck, I'm serious this time!

Yeah, so after that 06 deal went south I decided to find a cash deal....

After looking and looking, found a 95 4wd auto standard cab long bed. 190k, 30k on tranny for 2900. Needs lotsa TLC. Sat for 2 years under a tarp in dude's shop.

Drove it home, found trans is not doing its job right. Gonna need to replace TPS (yes it has one for the trans) and do a few other things.

Just bought my most important tool: Dodge factory service manual.

Also bought a noise filter, a fuel and air filter, and lots of degreaser!

Pictures when lighting conditions permit.

what is CTD? Yes, it's a 12v. I already backed out the smoke screw and messed with the fuel plate a tiny bit, then pinched off the wastegate line. It's pulling about 50hp or more than stock (which isn't saying much, since stock was 155hp/400 tq). I'm going to either upgrade auto or find a 5 speed before I add a lift pump, delivery valves, and a more aggressive fuel plate. We just got done doing a fuel plate for my buddy, and he has the turbo pretty maxed out at 33psi. It'll put you back in the seat.

LOL, sounds like you've been to Alabama, "merican"

When you first step into it, I have a bit of coal. Once the turbo fires up, it clears right up. There are 2 pre-boost adjustments, the screw and star wheel. I haven't tuned it up yet, because I'm in the middle of putting ball joints on it. I found out @ 35mph I had a bad lower (death wobble) I should have her together today for some fine tuning.

My neighbor's truck will black out headlights from following cars, we are turning his WAY down as well.

I will admit, I'm not going to completely clear mine out. I want a little smoke from idle WOT to about 1 second. Just a puff will do.

This weekend I'm r/r the calipers, rotors, lines. Changing f/r diff fluid, and figuring out why she has a tendency to peg leg. Worst case condition, I'm going to put a locker in her.

I can't wait to either upgrade the tranny or convert to a NV4500 so I can squeeze some more out of her. I'm not sure where I will stop, but compounds might be in my long term planner. I'm a decent welder, and can set it up for less than 700 bucks including the purchase of a nice used stock turbo from an N14.

I kinda wish I had a computerized Cummins, just so I could smoke once in a while. I may be immature and easily amused, but it is entertaining.

Examples:

1. Douche in car banging loud tunes at a redlight, shaking everyone's windows: Find open window, insert cancer.

2. Guy walking from store to home with beer every day because his license is revoked: Apply bug repellent.

3. Good looking girls in mustang acting girly: Must escape! Deploy smoke screen!

Shoot me, but that's fun for the whole white trash family!

Think I'm gonna sell those damn Ground Hawgs for some smoother riding radials. I took my wife to lunch yesterday about 7 miles away, she started getting road sick! I thought it was funny as hell, but I could imagine driving to Florida on those would get old after oh...... about 20 miles.

Oh, and the smoke is just a puff, slid my fuel plate to optimal position. I could imagine a cop pulling me over for that.
