HELL NO !!!! 40K+ for their top of the line offering that goes low 13's in the 1/4 mile, ONLY does .86G's on the skidpad and has a gas guzzler tax......no thanks, you can keep that fat 4100+ Lb piggy. Hell, back in July 2001 I got a way better deal on my camaro that is rated at 110 HP less and still posted better #'s bone stock......way to get w/ the times there Dodge.

K&N filter with modified lid, 52mm TB, ported plenum, Edelbrock High Flo runners, Lingenfelter manifold, ported aluminum heads, Custom grind camshaft by DRM, Roller rockers at 1.5, High flow stainless valves, high perf springs, chrome moly rods, high volume fuel pump, adjustable fuel pressure regulator, MSD ignition, LT ceramic coated headers, full stainless exhaust out straight pipes, All that and it still won't beat an LS1.

Some dudes on LS1tech got a G8 GT to run 13.1 with only a tune, the Camaro should be lighter and about on point with the last gen numbers wise maybe a lil faster.

i will not buy a new camaro the first year it comes out, how bout you kirk?

im not down to pay a 2k gas guzzler tag up front.

on another note, that car better run 12s' with the power it will have from the factory. if not, ill be thinking wtf. if all else fails, then GXP G8, 400hp. and 4 doors. and 13'0 flat.

IF the camaro ever comes out, first thing ill do is get a New intake, change the exhaust and get a tune. keep the stock shit incase i gotta go to the stealership for warranty work,

I love the new challenger, but won't buy one until there is a more powerful engine available. They've had that engine since 05, I already have one in my 300. Just laziness to not upgrade that for their new offering into the muscle car market! Also, I beleive they are supposed to be available next year with a Manual gearbox which may put it over fed standards to aviod gas guzzler taxes
