We have dodge charger cops all over up here.

Those have been out in my area for over a year now. They use the charger and still have a few 2002 Z/28 camaro state trooper cars.

^ doubt it, the stock weight of those cars make them pigs, now add a bigger alternator, duel battery set up, light bar, radio equipment, standard police gear in the trunk, safety cage/glass to divide the front and back seats......that weight is crazy now. I would guess that since stock they weigh right at 4000 lbs, they now are at 4300 lbs, so the handling and performance is down a lot.

same here and supposedly some of them around here are srt8s i dont know if i believe that.

Some of the towns around here have them, they are really intimidating to see on the road. As far as handling goes, When car & driver did their first track day, the srt-8 did worse than all the sport compacts if I remember correctly. I know it was the worst in its price class.

The unmarked ones sure are alot more stealthy than the crown vics. I'm sure if they catch on, we'll all get used to spotting them, just like the CVs, but for now I have to really look to not blow past one.

i slow down everytime i see any CV lo;, marked or unmarked
