The automatic version is hit with the gas guzzlar tax, althou they didn't specify, the manual trans should scrap by without a gas guzzlar tax.
The Viper gets hit with a gas guzzlar & luxury tax.
The curb weight is 4100lbs right now, but i wouldn't be surprised to see them get it down to 3700lbs.
We'll have to wait and see it's final numbers but remember, the cars length and wheelbase is larger than most imports, RWD, possibly full frame vechile also.

Throughout the Vipers history it has been hit every year with a gas guzzlaur tax.
The Challenger never had any prices out until recently.
The automatic as shown gets it, while the manual version is up in the air

They've updated the site again.
Theres only about $2000.00 USD gross for the dealer on the ride, from what they've shown.
That's very fair, I dont work in the industry but a gross of $3500 USD still would be reasonable.

went by the dodge dealership this weekend. Asked about putting in an order for the Challenger. The salesman said 20k on top of MSRP, I never even got out of my car.

I should have guessed they were going to go over MSRP, but 20k on top is ridiculous.
If you want one, come to Canada (when your dollar gets stronger) cause it is illegal to sell over MSRP. You might have to spend a few dollars on changing the dash from km to mi, (if it bothers you) and our standards are a little higher then the US- so it shouldn't be a problem bringing them back.

I'm patient, I can wait... May not want one by the time they are available at below Sticker. I waited two years for my CSRT.
