Sorry, but the facts dont support your speculation. This truck almost won the one lap, which allows pretty much any mods you want as long as its on DOT rubber and STREET LEGAL. It was faster than highly modified 996TT's, z06's and ultima GT-Rs over much of the week long event.

The track they ran at, willow springs, favours big hp cars (its not called fastest track in the west for no reason). A stock 2001 Viper ACR runs 1:34 there - same time as the Atom. Im fairly certain that Ron Adee's truck, which has 150 more rwhp, and 500lbs less weight than a stock viper (and never mind racing spec brakes and suspension) would be a *bit* faster than a 1:34

can it be sold over the counter tho with warranty .is what i ment.as atoms have been tuned to 400bhp+ already thats over 800bhp per ton.

yer it deffo is.but is says in the dvd its 9secs quicker then the viper srt10 as well

Obviously not. A pick up truck is for hauling things. Its not meant for racing on asphalt. So when I saw this ridiculous comparison, I mentioned that they could have at least compared the atom with a truck prepared for racing. You still thought that the Atom was faster, and I showed that it wasnt.

There might be some vids of that truck of the One Lap's website.
