no it would not they are almost equal cause of the evos 4 wheel drive weight and the srt light weight makeing them almost the same in every way except handeling lol

Does anyone else notice about half way through, there is a red car that walks both of them making them look SLOW. I think it may be a red 2g Talon.
The SRT-4 driver sure noticed, he says " Holy shit"

how can they be equal? the EVO has more hp, more torque, and it only weighs about 300 lbs more. that evo in the vid was pulling that neon on the top end anyways. stock for stock, the evo will win everytime. the evo runs 13.1's-13.2's @ about 103-105mph. the neon runs best 13.9's @ about 100-101mph STOCK. i think i would have to say that the evo would pull that neon.
that other car to me looked like a civic.

No offense meant (well yeah ok some), stick to your F150.

Think about Power to weight ratio.. First off, that equals them... Then take into fact that a AWD drivetrain has more parasitic loss then a 2WD drivetrain.

I'd LOVE to see a STOCK EVO timeslip under 13.5

Second of all, a STOCK SRT-4 with a CAPABLE driver has already been proven to hit SUB 13.5 times.

yeah and think of what u said F150 the srt has 100-101 mph in the quarter and the evo has 103-105 in the quarter dosent that tell u right there that the evo just has better take off cause its a 4 wheel drive? u dont make any since 21,000 for the srt or 28,000 for the evo and they are basicly the same speed stock to stock

I have to admit that srt-4's are pretty impressive. I was thinking about buying one before i set my mind on a Wrx. I went to test drive one, an 03 without LSD and it was CRAZY! man 21 thousand jus boggled my mind. still i would have to stick with a car without a body of a neon

I've seen that before... and i think they were both stock.

If not, then they both had a minor mod, like a downpipe for one and catback for the other. Wish i could remember, thats an old video.

Uhh the srt4 was definately not stock. It had to have a stage 1 or 2, i think the evo had a turboback though. Still close race. I saw this video on srt4forums.com

Ugh. stock vs. stock is always a close race from a roll for those 2 cars, just like the video!
