that's gary d's car it's a 2.5l turbo sohc he dyno'd at 444hp to the wheels

i got to meet him at turbopalooza at edgewater racepark in cincinnati ohio he's a good guy his websight tells how to modify a 2.2-2.5l sohc turbo chrysler car's form the mid 80' to early 90's www.thedodgegarage.com

Great Repost... I would love to have a car like that

It's funny, at my local 1/8 mile dragstrip, runs a dodge omni with a shelby 2.5 L Turbo charged engine. It runs 7.5 secs @ 100mph

here's a picture of one so you have an idea of what it looks like, except the one i see is a dull brown color

A friend of mine every few months takes his 12 second (1/4mile time) omni to irwindale, usually to break a transaxle tho. out of the lat 3 or 4 runs he has yet to make it down the strip. When running it's quick tho I swear! He runs the 2.2l bottom end tho, the 2.5 apparently has to long a stroke and is really stressed for high output.
