Maybe you didn't notice the guys walking around with drag bags, dressed in black. Thats the countersniper team, and if you found a good spot, I'm sure they did to, and had it covered.

^No, they (secret service) were there 1 week before the speech to check things out. They used alot of Marines as "look outs"....LOL, and My work area was near the steam plant w/ the tower and NOBODY was up there, near there, nothing!!! Work was still going on there as normal. Now, the builings around the immediate area were told to "go home for the day" and no parking/driving/walking was allowed in the immediate area. GW Bush flew in on Air force II, the helichopter along w/ 3 other "decoy" choppers that looked the same. I know that they checked out the steam plant tower, but nobody was there the day of the arrival. I know this. I also know what secret service looks like and am damn sure their counter snipers were not in that area.

his victory speech was done huge in a bulletproof glass dome, i think that shows how uptight secret services are gonna be with him, he already had to failed attempts on him...

I don't think it would be that difficult in the action itself to take him out if someone really didn't give a fu** about getting caught.

Secret Service is intense though, so I think it would be tough to find a way to do it. Definitely not impossible though.

@ whoever said the counter snipers weren't in the area. Like they are going to just jump out to the average person and be completely obvious. These guys aren't exactly like kids at laser star, they pick places where they are extremely hard to spot and use their environments well.

They go through pretty extensive training, I can assure you they didn't become snipers by buying a riffle with tickets from chuck-e-cheese.

It's pretty frightening though that it is a real possibility. Someone is probably out there right now planning something
