yeah thats right, but if I was going turbo I would expect a lot more power also. With my na 13b pp I expect 250rwhp. If I was going a turbo motor I would want/expect 350+rwhp. I don't see the point in having a turbo setup if it's not a substantial improvement on the na equivalent.

Turbo's are great! but....
I gotta go with raw motor. its a lot more impressive when you go fast with a raw motor.
Just my .02
Plus I tend to blow up every boosted car I own

No. boost will always make more power..
I owned a 1985 300zx turbo, and a 90 SC T-BIRD.
I plan on updating my bad october thread soon with new info so stay tuned.
And when I start rebuilding the stang it will be extreme.

for n/a cars you have to stick with the power you have without de-tunning or tunning or adding more shit
So if your n/a car is hella fast and you cant take off without burning the tire or have to start in 2nd gear, you will most likely not use it as a daily driver

Turbo with boost controller FTW!!!!!!!!!!
In a large displacement NA V8, especially those equipped w/ electronic thottle bodies..you can easily control the torque. You just gradually press in the pedal and your good, even in high rpms. Not quite the same w/ 4 bangers though.

For me I'd have to choose N/A, unless a turbo engine is tuned so well there is practically no lag at all. Turbo engines are a lot of fun though.

S/C's are kind of a nice bridge between the two though. Definitely SC over both I think.

Thats true but at what cost? I know they use those in WRC so I mean...if costs and loads of turbo rebuilds aren't a problem...problem solved.

For the everday user / track day enthusiast thats a lot of money to spend

i think anti-lags are like 2k or around there

your right about it not good for daily driving

but turbo lag shouldn't be much a problem for the daily driver, most turbos kick in around 3k or what not

Each has their advantages. I personally like seeing the power a small displacement turbo charged motor can make over a huge motor making power. But then as long as it's able to power to the ground it doesn't matter how it makes it imo.
