ive always thought so. Im white and proud to be white ==> not in the sense that i would hate myself if i were another colour, nor do i hate other ethnicities, i like everyone equally (without wanting to sound like Mother Theresa)
But it always made me want to puke when you feel "excluded" because you are white, hey im white but im Polish, its not like im a "no name" "product".
but it happened to me, that worked with this black guy, and he was working like an ass, he wouldnt finish anything he would start, so i told him "buddy you better tighten up your sh1t or you might have problems from above for this kind of work" his reply "you f#cking racist son of a b1tch! im gonna show you after work!" <-=== yeah! Wahou! that shows alot, its gotten to the point where you cant even affirm something or just give a notice. in our society its gotten to the point where the same rights are applied to gays, if two people apply for the same job, same qualifications and whatever the hell you want, the gay guy will get the job==> if not its discrimination.

So i wouldnt even want to see what would happen if one was black and the other plain gay!!!

it freaks me out, how we have to accept everything and STFU for whatever else, im not saying we should have more torque or white people should be superior, im just saying that all colours except whites have more rights.

What this really comes down to is, ignorance, laziness and thinking that u are owed something. Getting a job over some1 who is qualified just because u are a certain color? What I don't understand is why "Minorities" aren't the 1's going "We don't want anything for free" or maybe "That's wrong" Amazingly though I haven't heard that once.

U guys will love this 1, I'm sitting in my car the other day next to a convenience store waiting for my mother to get some shit. As I'm sitting there, I see 3 black kids walking down the st. I light up a smoke and start looking at my phone when I hear outta left field "Yo whats up with the White Boy shit" and some other blatantly racist comments blurted out. Now while this wasn't directed towards me WTF makes any1 think that would be ok to say around any1 nm a white person?

I know alot of black people and have quite a few black friends, but if I were to say "what up my nigga" that would be wrong even though its used as a term of endearment and its seems to be ok for black people to call white people that or pretty much whatever want to. But the blatant racist shit I hear pretty often from alot of random black people seems to be acceptable to those individuals. This garbage is taught to kids. Even though I really didn't appreciate hearing that stupid shit I didn't reply back with a dumbass racist comment cause I'm not a racist. I have only 1 black friend that truly does not care about race that I know for a fact.

I live right up the st. from the projects and am qualified to comment Matter of fact I lived up the st. from the projects most of life no matter where I've lived and have dealt with racist bullshit most of my life. Yet I don't judge people that I don't know based on experiences with other people that had nothing to do with them.

apperently evryone has strong feelings about this topic... the fact is nothing is gonna happen from bickering about it... and i bet if someone tried to do something about it they would get sued for it... this situation is not gonna stop but just get worse and soon there will be a group of blacks burning us on crosses... i think it's BS... but get used to it.

Just to add my thoughts to this:

I think we are taught to distinguish between race as we are older, little kids really have no idea what race is. At least i didn't when i was a kid. It's like someone was saying on page 1 about his 4 year old having the conversation then moving onto the topic of ice cream. We are brought up to differentiate between race as we get older i think.

Also, just my own thought if everyone is equal why is there a black history month. To me it almost suggests inferiority to have to set aside a month that is dedicated to "black history" i dunno, just my 2 cents.

The same thing goes for all those scholarships. Whats the reason a person of another "race" can't compete equally with a "white kid" for scholarships.

The bottom line is until people realize everyone is first and foremost a human being we're never going to get anywhere. Some people refuse to see that and it just perpetuates the situation.

um, there is basically noway knowing if the person who is trying to get in a college is black/white/asian/mexican....because they only have the name and not race (unless your name is like Jesus Lopez or similar lol)

and as for scholarships, there is groups that give scholarships to african americans just for them being that race.....but no such thing for whites here

there is no scholarships given out to white (Caucasians) at all, unless their gpa is over 4.0

my sisters friend got a scholarship for being hispanic, and she had like a 3.0 or less gpa and she spent it on a car
