hang'em, or shoot'em. Lethal injection is BS, but electricution is o.k. It should also be on cable or satellite t.v. Once people see the death they might think twice about commiting the crime.

Singapore has the best. Get cainned for minor crimes. they have a death penalty? has to be something outrageous

im more then all for it here in the us we have no set amount of years for a crime really so someone can kill a person and be in jail for 10 years while a person who hit a person driving at night would get 20 its rediculous

i think the whole thing against cruel and unusual punishment in teh US is total crap. Eye for and eye or something worse than being given food, shelther and social interaction provided our taxes for a certain period of time. Prison shold be more dungeon like

I did a 6 month exchange term in singapore for grad school.. they are pretty heavy handed when it comes to crime. $1000 fine for first offense for spitting gum on the ground. When you fly into the country, you get a pamphlet that says in bold red lettering: AUTOMATIC DEATH PENALTY FOR DRUG TRAFFICKING.

Im opposed to the death penalty, on the simple grounds that you can never be sure you got the right person. How many cases have you seen where people where wrongly convicted, spent x number of years in prison then exonerated based on new technology (i.e. dna) or evidence? David Milgaard is a cdn who spent something like 20 years in jail for a murder he didnt commit and was only released recently. What would happen if he was executed? While you cant give him back those 20 years, its better than saying "Oops, Im sorry" to his family after you put him to death. To those that support the concept of an eye for an eye, what do you do at that point? Execute the judge, prosecutor and jury that sentenced an innocent man to die?
