funny, i went to a show tonight in rolling meadows and met this guy who was like 70 yrs old and is a millionaire. anyways point is he was so diehard domestic it was hilarious. but even more so he was oldtime loyal aswell. he didn't like any car that was newer than 1980 and was an import. Really a cool guy. some lambos and two porsches rolled in and he just rolled his eyes and said, " this is a car show not a junk yard" hahaha

I love all different cars but in general I like domestics more than imports. Actually older ones really i think most new cars are shit reguardless of where it was made. Another reason I like domestics is the "if I broke x" thing I'd much rather blow a LS1 than say a Subby motor 1k-ish vs $5500

for the most part as long as its rwd with alota power i can give a **** less where its from...well a few exceptions new lambos evos and scoobs wich are awd. but in the end i tend to lean twards imports (euros included)

i tend to go with non american for practical cars because our reliability and build quality are notoriously bad but teh way your dashboard fits and what it's made of doesn't much matter when you're wheel-standin your ls1

My thoughts exactly, I bought a jetta because I couldn't justify buying an ls1 that I can't drive in the winter and gets under 20 miles to the gallon but if I wasn't delivering pizzas and had a winter car that was a little nicer than my samurai, I would have gotten an old school muscle car.
