For any kind of performance on lose surface RWD is the lowest performer. But for pavement anything else can be comparable to each other, it just depends on the setup.

I don't really agree with that. Car setup is the major factor here in my opinion. Going to various rallies I see 70's Escorts and Datto 510's doing similar or faster times than newer fwd rally cars (of similar mods) with 10k worth of Drummond Motorsport dampers. The only thing the older cars have is more power. Of course this is disregarding the "kit" style cars which are a very serious bit of gear.

For me rwd all the way. Drag or circuit it has ALWAYS been the fastest and by far the most fun. And until faggy hybrid technology hits F1 it will remain that way. Obviously in rally/or slippery/icy situations awd will be better.

FWD= road coarse racing
RWD= drifting
AWD= drag racing
That is just my opinion. all from an import perspective, not including domestics.

RWD= Drifting, drag racing
AWD= road racing
FWD= nothing

what about the hommell rs2? French and RWD.
Not the only one french RWD in production but as written earlier, i was speaking of the 3 big fr carmakers

Whats the difference if its from an import or domestic perspective? Do the laws of physics apply differently depending on where the car was made??
